CineSational Is Back With Princess Peach Drones and Fireworks

Universal Studios Florida is making waves in 2025 with the return of two of its biggest entertainment hits: CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular and the Universal Mega Movie Parade. After successful debuts in 2024, both are back with packed schedules, exciting updates, and plenty of movie magic.

CineSational Lights Up the Night Again

Starting April 14, CineSational will once again transform the Universal lagoon into a dazzling stage. This nighttime spectacular blends music from iconic films with fireworks, water effects, projections, and a fleet of synchronized drones. It’s been a fan favorite since it debuted, and for good reason—it’s equal parts emotional, nostalgic, and jaw-dropping.

The show will run nightly through April 24, pop up again on April 26 and 27, and then take over summer evenings from May 22 to August 24. As before, it’ll start at park close and provide the perfect grand finale to your day.

What’s new? The drone segment is back in full force after a brief hiatus due to safety concerns, and yes—Princess Peach drones have officially joined the lineup. If you’re a Nintendo fan or just love impressive tech, you won’t want to miss this.

Mega Movie Parade Marches Through the Park

The Universal Mega Movie Parade returns to the streets of Universal Studios Florida beginning April 12. This isn’t your average theme park parade. With massive, screen-accurate floats and characters from Jurassic World, Ghostbusters, and more, it feels more like a movie scene than a standard performance.

The parade will run daily through April 24, and then again on April 26, 27, May 1, May 3–8, May 10–15, and May 18–August 26. Fall performances are scheduled for August 28, every Monday and Tuesday in September and October, and then from November 3–13.

From the raptor paddock float to the Ecto-1, the energy and detail are incredible. Whether you’re visiting with kids or just love a good throwback, it’s a crowd-pleaser across generations.

Something Bigger on the Horizon?

Universal also recently filed a trademark for something called “Universal Mega Movie Summer,” hinting at the potential for a larger seasonal event tied to these two shows. Details are still under wraps, but the idea of a full-on summer movie festival—with themed treats, pop-up entertainment, and maybe even special character appearances—has fans buzzing.

Plan Your Visit

The best part? Both the night show and parade are included with park admission. If you’re visiting in 2025, check the dates and try to catch both—you won’t regret it. Between these shows and the upcoming Epic Universe expansion, Universal is shaping up for a blockbuster year.
