Universal Orlando Resort is introducing an exciting new event, giving guests the chance to enjoy its water park after dark. Universal Volcano Bay Nights will offer an exclusive evening experience with shorter lines, character interactions, and lively entertainment.

Taking place on select Saturdays—April 12, April 26, May 3, May 10, and May 17—this after-hours event brings a unique atmosphere to Volcano Bay. Attendees will enjoy access to the park’s most thrilling water rides, including the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides. The event also offers live entertainment, including a DJ party on Waturi Beach, classic beach games, and meet-and-greets with DreamWorks characters like Shrek, Puss in Boots, and King Julien.

Food and drinks will also be part of the fun. Guests will receive complimentary island-themed snacks and a Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup with unlimited Coca-Cola refills. Additional specialty food and drinks can be purchased at Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, and other locations.
Tickets are available now for $99 per person, plus tax, with complimentary parking included. Universal Orlando Annual and Seasonal Passholders receive a 10% discount, and private cabanas can be booked for $249.99. Event guests may enter as early as 4:00 p.m. before the exclusive event begins at 7:00 p.m.
This new offering comes at a time when Universal Orlando is experiencing a major surge in growth. In 2025, the resort will debut Epic Universe, an entirely new theme park featuring lands based on Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, Dark Universe, and more. The expansion is expected to bring record-breaking crowds and could shift the balance of power between Orlando’s two major theme park operators.

Meanwhile, Disney World is set to undergo a series of attraction closures in 2025, making Universal an even more attractive option for visitors. With Epic Universe on the horizon and new experiences like Volcano Bay Nights, Universal is making a strong case for why it should be the top choice for vacationers in the coming years.
