D23 Member Preview Announced for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

With Walt Disney World’s newest attraction opening next month in EPCOT, D23 just announced that member previews will be available on a limited basis to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This D23 exclusive preview will give members the chance to experience the attraction before opening day, and even before other previews, and it will come with a series of additional member-exclusive events.

To attend the event, purchase your tickets online ($35, on sale beginning April 12, 2022). During the event, you will check in at the entrance to EPCOT where a Cast Member will issue a complimentary after 4:00 PM ticket to the park and a commemorative credential just for D23 members attending this event.

Once in the park, members will be able to spend some time experiencing the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, and they will be able to sample some of the snacks and drinks from the outdoor kitchens with a dining card as part of this event.

After spending some time exploring the festival, members can grab a spot around World Showcase Lagoon to watch the park’s newest nighttime spectacular, Harmonious. And from there…they will be off to experience the theme park’s newest, and perhaps most thrilling attraction!

Once the park has closed to day Guests, members will walk over to the Wonders of Xandar pavilion and be among the first Disney fans to head inside. As members enter the attraction’s queue they will learn more about the story behind the newest Walt Disney World attraction, where the Guardians of the Galaxy need them to help save humanity during this incredible journey. The attraction will be the one of largest full enclosed roller coasters on Earth, and it is the first reverse launch coaster at any Disney Park. As members exit the attraction, they will also receive an exclusive gift from D23.

Per D23, the complete package for this event includes:

• Parking and park admission with park reservation to EPCOT after 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022
• $20 dining card to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival (or other dining location of your choice)
• Reserved viewing for Harmonious
• Exclusive entry to preview of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
• Check-in will be open from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., with park admission beginning at 4 p.m. Members are able to explore EPCOT until the reserved viewing area for Harmonious opens at 8 p.m. for the 9 p.m. show. The evening concludes with an opportunity to preview of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, receiving a commemorative gift upon departure.

As you prepare to purchase tickets, note that there is a four-ticket max. per member, and the new attraction has a height requirement of 42 inches.
