Disney’s Riviera Resort may be the place to be at Walt Disney World for the delicious and fun character dining experience at Topolino’s Terrace and relaxing rides aboard the Disney Skyliner, but this resort is also home to some of the desserts we are most looking forward to in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort.

First, Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort is offering the 50th Celebration Cupcake. This delectable yet oh so Instagram worthy dessert is made with vanilla cake, cake-flavored mousse, and caramel-buttercream icing topped off with crisp sugar pearls, 50th anniversary sprinkles, and a of course, a gold Mickey inspired by the Fab 50 character statues.

Then for table service dining at Disney’s Riviera Resort, make your way over to Topolino’s Terrace. There you’ll find the Vanilla and Citrus Crème Brûlée. This dessert sounds incredible as it is made with a Morello cherry compote, strawberry cream, sugared beignets, chocolate meringues, 50th Anniversary chocolate stamp. Seriously, we do not know of any other Crème Brûlée at Walt Disney World that could compete with this one!

While at the resort, be sure to keep an eye out for wrapped buses showcasing some EARidescent 50th anniversary designs to transport you to and from Walt Disney World theme parks in the most magical way possible. You will also find scavenger hunts available at each Disney resort, plus themed pool parties for the occasion.

And, if you are a Guest of Disney’s Riviera Resort (or any Disney resort hotel) be sure to pick up a limited edition 50th anniversary refillable mug from your resort’s quick service dining location. These designs are only available during “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth,” and the mugs come in handy during resort days on your vacation and are great to have around the house!
