When it comes to dining at a Disney Park, there are hundreds of options to choose from. Whether you want the famous fried chicken from 50’s Prime Time Café in Hollywood Studios, or maybe a Ronto Wrap sounds perfect to tie you over. Heck, even if you just want ice cream or a refreshing beverage to cool you down on a hot day, Disney has everything. While eating at a nice sit-down restaurant, complete with menus and waiters, some Guests want to get the most out of their days in the Parks, so eating won’t take up too much time.

Disney wants to make things easy for Guests, especially when it comes to enjoying a variety of dining options. That’s why, in 2017, Disney introduced Mobile Ordering. Mobile ordering allows Guests to go onto the My Disney Experience or Disneyland Mobile App and check out the menus for dozens of quick-service restaurants. Then, once you decide where you want to eat, mobile ordering would tell you what time was available to pick up your food.

You select what you want, pay for it, and done! Then, just go to the restaurant at your designated time, hit “I’m Here, Prepare My Order”, and Disney lets you know when your food is ready to go! It was truly a game changer for those trying to maximize their day.

Now, Disney has made things even easier for Guests using mobile ordering. Instead of scrolling through all the restaurants in the theme park you are in and seeing which ones have immediate availability, Disney has added an “Available Now” option. Available Now will allow Guests to order their food for immediate pickup. Of course, there is still an option to order hours in advance if you are trying to fully plan out your day.

News of the “Available Now” option was first shared by theme park reporter Scott Gustin.

NEW: Disney updated Mobile Food Orders in the app to include a new interface with filters by location, “available now” filtering, and more intuitive way to schedule for later.

The “Available Now” option has been added to both the Disneyland Mobile app and the My Disney Experience app. There is currently no filter if you are looking for a certain type of food, but if you know where you would like to eat, you can type the name of the restaurant into the search bar. If mobile ordering is available, you can order through the app.
