Adventure combines with Disney magic once again as Adventures by Disney adds two more brand-new itineraries to its offerings for adventurous Disney travelers! Sicily and the British Isles are joining the Adventures by Disney lineup in 2023, and the Disney Parks Blog has revealed what interested Disney fans can expect from the new Sicily and the British Isles vacations!

On the Sicily trip, Guests will travel with an adventure guide and get to enjoy five UNESCO World Heritage Sites as they embark on an eight-day, seven-night journey through Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Siracusa, Mount Etna, and Taormina.

Highlights will include exploring ancient Greek or Roman sites, such as the Valley of Temples, Villa Romana del Casale, Neapolis Archaeological Park, and Teatro Greco. Guests will also get to explore small local villages and try out local traditions like ceramic painting or puppetry.
Guests who want to enjoy their adventure with an approach that suits Indiana Jones or Uncharted’s Nathan Drake will definitely love off-roading on Mount Etna, which is the highest active volcano in Europe, as well as exploring Isola Bella on a private boat ride through the Ionian Sea. Swimming, snorkeling, and sea caves (specifically, “the blue cave of Taormina”) will also be included!

If you’re an adult Guest who would like a quiet trip, then keep in mind that Adventures by Disney has three adults-only departures open for the Siciliy itinerary in 2023. A sunset boat ride around Ortigia is included in those!

The second addition to the Adventures by Disney trips apparently combines “all-time Guest favorites from the Adventures by Disney England, Ireland and Scotland itineraries with brand-new experiences”, so you won’t want to miss booking this one! The British Isles Land Adventure is a 10-day, nine-night trip through Dublin, Belfast, Antrim Coast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London. Apparently it also “marks the first Adventures by Disney excursion to Northern Ireland”.
Whiskey fans will get to experience an Irish distillery in Dublin, while history buffs will love learning how to make Irish soda bread in between museum visits. A beautiful journey along the Antrim Coast will provide some fresh air, and the view of the famous Giant’s Causeway will be unbeatable.
In Scotland, Guests will learn about bagpipes and test out their own musical skills once they arrive within Glasgow. They will also get a private look at Edinburgh’s Royal Yacht Britannia, and some more royal experiences will occur in Edinburgh and Floors Castles.

Adrenaline junkies will love following a charming London teatime with a fast-paced River Thames boat ride on a speed boat in England, and classic London sites like the Tower of London will be the finale.
