Everyone knows that interacting with characters is a big part of the fun at Walt Disney World. But Daisy Duck is easily one of the fan-favorite characters to spend time with when it comes to visiting the resort.

For many guests, one of the best kinds of dining experiences is one that involves Disney characters. Each of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks and some of the hotels have restaurants that offer character dining.

Some of the most popular character dining spots are Story Book Dining at Artist Point With Snow White at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village, Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom, and Tusker House Breakfast in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Tusker House Restaurant is one of the more unique dining options for breakfast. While there are traditional menu options like Mickey waffles, salad, macaroni and cheese, and roasted potatoes, there are also so many distinctive offerings, like cardamom granola, Doro Wat Chicken Curry, Tandoori Chicken, and Berbere-marinated pork.

Guests dining at Tusker House will also get to see some classic Disney characters in their best safari gear, including Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy.

Interacting with Disney characters can be a truly fun experience, and one guest had an interaction that they are sure to remember for years. TikToker Kasen Sanders (@northdakotaking) was headed back to his table at the restaurant with a plate full of yummy food.

When he got to his seat, it was occupied by Daisy Duck, who was having a conversation with the person holding the camera. Kasen then started joking with Daisy and the Cast Member with her and said that he was better. Daisy quickly made sure that Kasen was shown the door!

Of course, it was all in good fun, and Kasen said that Daisy allowed him back at his table when he told her that her eyelashes were cute. Many commented that this is what makes Disney so special, and that Tusker House has some of the best character interactions you can find at Disney World.

Tusker House is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations are not required, but strongly recommended as the restaurant is very popular. A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required to get into Animal Kingdom. A reservation at Tusker House will not grant you entry if you do not have a ticket and park reservation.

  1. I took my 4 year old granddaughter to Disney World in January. We went to Animal Kingdom on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. We had reservations for a late lunch at Tusker House. It was fantastic. My granddaughter had the best time with Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. The restaurant was not crowded at that time, and Miranda was able to get up and dance with the characters. Our waiter was fabulous. He kept an eye on her the whole time, watching her while I went to the buffet and watching her as she was dancing all over the restaurant with the characters. I can’t say enough good things about our time at Tusker House.
