2. Pre-Ride Experience

The pre-ride experience is one of the more elaborate ones in all of Disney World.  While twisting and turning through graveyards and other ghostly decorations, guests finally enter the mansion and are moved into an octagon shaped room.  This is very similar to what guests experience in the Tower of Terror pre-ride as well.  Loud bangs, pitch black surroundings, “stretching walls”, and creepy voices fill the room.  This may be a bit scary for younger children.  Once the introductions some of the “999 Ghosts” whom roam the manner, guests are led to their “doom buggies” to begin their journey through the Haunted Mansion.
