Disney Digest: Your Insider’s Guide to the Marquee Attractions – Volume Two

2. Pre-Ride Experience

Being a new attraction, the Disney Imagineers used newer technology to allow guests to remain active and engaged while waiting in line.  There is a “sorting station” for little miners to sort jewels that is over fifteen feet long.  Guests whom have a keen eye for detail, will also notice an ode to Dopey we’ll dig into when divulging some of the Disney secrets. Little miners will also get the chance to play with some of the gems and project their favorite dwarfs on the ceiling of the ride queue.  The Disney Imagineers were also clever enough to incorporate some “musical spigots” guests can interact with to play some of their favorite melodies.
