Initially created for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair, “it’s a small world” was intended to promote global peace and understanding. The attraction opened at Disneyland Park on May 28, 1966. Later, on October 1, 1971, Magic Kingdom opened and has since become a beloved fixture.
