A Disneyland visitor has sparked discussion online after sharing a frustrating experience with a line-cutter who tried to sneak friends ahead in line. While most of their visit was filled with fun and memorable moments, this particular incident left them annoyed by the lack of park etiquette.

A Queue Confrontation at Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
According to the guest, they were waiting in line for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride when they encountered a teenage girl, estimated to be around 14-16 years old. She was loudly playing TikTok videos on her phone, seemingly unconcerned about the guests around her.
As the line inched closer to the ride’s entrance, the teen suddenly turned and announced that her friends would be joining her.
Expecting others to simply move aside, she was caught off guard when the guest refused. Instead, the guest made it clear that her friends would not be skipping ahead and would need to wait behind their group like everyone else. When the teen attempted to argue, the guest stood firm, offering her a choice:
- Exit the queue and wait for her friends.
- Continue in line alone.
- Move behind the guest’s group to reunite with her friends.
The guest also made it clear that a cast member would be called if she continued to insist on cutting. Realizing she had no choice, the teen begrudgingly moved behind them but proceeded to sulk loudly for the remainder of the wait, making passive-aggressive remarks along the way. Later, the guest summed up the situation with a biting remark:
“Oh well, Tinkerbell, you didn’t get to take advantage of us and cut your friends in.”

The Ongoing Debate: Is Holding a Spot in Line Ever Okay?
The issue of line-cutting and spot-saving has long been a controversial topic among Disneyland guests. While some feel that letting a friend or two join them is harmless, others see it as a blatant disregard for park etiquette—especially when multiple people attempt to skip ahead.
Many longtime visitors argue that standing your ground against queue-jumpers is necessary to maintain fairness for everyone who has waited patiently. While restroom breaks and emergencies may be understandable exceptions, many guests strongly oppose the tactic of texting a friend to “come find me” in line.

Disneyland Guests Speak Out: Enough Is Enough!
The guest ended their post with a clear message to fellow visitors:
“Don’t let people take advantage of you. Stand your ground—politely, but firmly!”
As crowds at Disneyland continue to grow, long lines are unavoidable—but cutting in front of others is not. Guests who follow etiquette shouldn’t feel pressured to let queue-jumpers get away with it, and as this visitor’s experience shows, sometimes a little pushback is necessary to keep things fair for everyone.
