A Disney Guest who had their dinner reservation canceled because of a glitch has so far been unable to get it back, with no help from Disney.

The Walt Disney World Resort is a place where dreams come true. People from all over the world flock to the Disney World Theme Parks-Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom-just to get a taste of the Disney experience and Disney magic. A huge part of this experience are many a dining option at the Disney Resort, but getting reservations for them is known to be a challenge.

To-be Disney Guest and Reddit user u/hannah_liz took all the right measures, did all the right things, and somehow still ended up losing her reservation. She took to the social media platform to share this unfortunate experience.

The OP woke up bright and early, 60 days in advance, to secure a wedding anniversary celebration at Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom Park. But an issue struck as their October vacation approached: their reservation suddenly disappeared from their plans on Walt Disney World Resort’s website and mobile app.

Thankfully, the Guest had a confirmation email and contacted the Disney Park to resolve the situation.

But they were shocked when the Disney Cast Member said nothing could be done about the glitch that removed their reservation.

The comments were filled with suggestions of how the OP could talk with Guest Services on arriving at the Disney Park. They also suggested the OP keep their confirmation email and go to the restaurant on the day of. “This just happened to my cousin two weeks ago. They still had the confirmation email and guest services were able to honor their reservation,” u/actuallivingdinosaur said.

Many times Disney has been known to go above and beyond for their Guests in these situations, so here’s looking to the user being able to have that special anniversary dinner they were looking forward to.
