It’s The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Birthday Celebration, and Theme Park Guests are the ones getting a very special gift.
In honor of the Disney100 Celebration, Disneyland Guests will receive complimentary ride photos.
According to Disney Parks Blog, starting February 4, Disneyland Guests will receive “Complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital attraction photos” in honor of the centennial celebration:
So many of us have treasured memories captured in the form of attraction photos – whether it’s huge screams on your first Space Mountain ride or victorious smiles crossing the finish line on Radiator Springs Racers, these are some of the best moments to take home from your visit. As a “thank-you” to our incredible Disneyland Resort guests, we’re excited to make Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads captured on any Disney PhotoPass available attraction during a park visit, complimentary for all ticketed park guests on the Disneyland app starting February 4, throughout the Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort.
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are filled with special in-ride PhotoPass opportunities, such as those found on unforgettable attractions from Space Mountain to The Incredicoaster. They are unforgettable candid shots that can be taken nowhere else in the world.
This news comes at the same time that Disneyland Resort announced that it would pull back its Park Hopper restrictions to 11 am. Click the link below to read more of that story.

On top of this, Walt Disney World Resort has eased the necessity for Theme Park Reservations for its Annual Passholders, enacting a “relaxed Park visitation” policy that allows its most frequent Guests to visit after 2 pm without the need for a Park Pass. Click here to learn more about that!
The Walt Disney World Resort will also modify its version of Disney’s PhotoPass for free downloads of ride photos at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. However, those ride photos will only be accessible with the purchase of Disney Genie+.
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney Parks news and stories as more developments come to light.
This is a developing story.
