When planning a trip, one thing all Disney guests have to be aware of is the fact that there will be long lines at the parks.
There will be lines for rides and attractions, lines for food, lines for the bathroom (especially the women’s restrooms); lines for everything. Most Disney Resorts have ways to cut down the amount of time spent waiting in line. Guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland can purchase Disney Genie+. There is also mobile ordering, so guests don’t have to wait as long for their food.
However, some people would rather avoid waiting in their own way—by cutting the line. As the parks have become more crowded, ride and attraction lines have gotten longer and longer. Some guests think they are above waiting and have no issues with lying to get through the line faster.
People who have been to a Disney Park have most likely experienced waiting in line and having someone cutting through, saying they are meeting their family. While most people are telling the truth — they had to leave the line to use the restroom or something similar — some guests use people’s kindness to lie and cut.
Guests are quickly losing their patience with line cutters and are putting their foot down. One Redditor even recalled the time that they refused to bow to line cutters and even got the rude party removed from the park.
Someone asked if it would be worth it to tell Disney Cast Members about line cutters and line jumpers. Redditor u/darylboggs said that it absolutely was.
Call security, they will interview people in line and ultimately kick them out. That happened to us. A German family was sending their boy through the line, then the family would meet up with him, so they’d jump like 30 people at a time. He ended up behind us, and we wouldn’t let him pass because I was watching him. My wife used to be a former cast member, so she knew to call security. We had befriended the people around us, so everyone knew they were line jumping when these people just appeared. The boy was literally trying to dodge around me and I wouldn’t let him pass. When the family met up with the boy, I told them security was on the way. The uncle of the kid was so mad and wanted to fight me. Security interviewed us, the people behind us, and being that our stories obviously synced up, they kicked the family out and everyone cheered
It is important to note that, when guests visit a Disney Resort, they are expected to follow the rules in place.
All Disney Parks have rules against line cutting. Disney reserves the right to remove any guest from the Parks who cannot or will not follow those rules. While the guest will typically not be banned for that behavior, they may be if they continue to repeat it and continue to disrespect other guests and Disney Cast Members.
Please note that the story outlined in this article is based on a personal Disney Parks guest experience. No two guest experiences are alike, and this article does not necessarily align with Disney Fanatic’s personal views on Disney Park operations.

Thank you Disney!! It’s about time! Every time we go same thing line cutters. Not all of us can afford Genie+ either, so the lines are already long. Then you have these line cutters that think they don’t have to wait like the rest of us.
