Marvel star Mark Ruffalo recently came under fire from some for unintentionally circulating AI-generated photos of Donald Trump with young women on Jeffrey Epstein’s island.
It’s unfortunate that the Jeffrey Epstein case is back in the news. As some might already know, due to the release of court-sealed documents, more information is beginning to come to light about the names and celebrities who were involved with the late trafficker.
That former President Donald Trump is one of Epstein’s known associates isn’t necessarily news, however, some images that were circulating recently have caused a stir.

Mark Ruffalo Slammed Online for Circulating AI-Generated Images of Trump on “Epstein’s Island”
Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, who played The Hulk in The Avengers series and is often politically active with his opinions on X, shared some photos of former President Trump with young girls supposedly all “headed to Epstein’s ‘Fantasy Island’.”
Ruffalo wrote in the caption for the photos: “Gross. #MAGA wants to paint everyone on those flights as pedophiles except the one guy who smiles in a group of young girls all headed to Epstein’s “Fantasy Island” with him. My bet is there are some decent republicans left in America that may think this is going too far.”

The Marvel star was immediately slammed by many for circulating the photos as it came to light that they were, in fact, AI-generated. Some accused him of spreading misinformation and not taking responsibility for his actions by deleting the erroneous post.
Ruffalo did address this in a later post where he wrote, “Sorry Folks. Apparently these images are AI fakes. The fact Trump was on Epstein’s plane and what Epstein was up to is not. Be careful. Elon’s X and his allowing so much disinformation here is driving the value of his app down by 55%.”

Despite this, some continued to be unimpressed with Ruffalo’s handling of the situation, insisting that he was not owning his own complicity in spreading misinformation.
Ruffalo has not further addressed the posts.
