Everybody knows that a Disney World vacation can get pretty expensive. But that shouldn’t stop you from visiting! There are a lot of ways that you can save money, but still be able to get that full Disney experience. Here are 7 ways to do Disney on a dime!

7. Stay Off Disney Property

Yes, one of the best parts about visiting Disney World is staying at a Disney Resort. Unfortunately, that can get extremely expensive. Luckily, there are plenty of resorts around Disney World that offer fantastic accommodations at a fraction of the price. Some are less than ten minutes away from the parks.

6. Visit When Room Rates Are Low

If staying at a Disney World resort is an absolute must, visit when room rates are low. When visiting in the summer months or near holidays, room rates will be higher than usual. Do some studying and play around with the Disney website to see what the rates are for different months. 5. Make the Majority of Your Meals

If you decide to stay off property, you can get a room with a full kitchen. You can get a room with a full kitchen on property too, but it will cost you a pretty penny. But if you do happen to have a full kitchen in your room, make some of your meals. Pack your lunches and snacks and bring them to the parks with you!

4. Limit Your Sit Down Meals

Sit down meals at Disney can get pricey! That’s an understatement. Limit your sit down meals and opt for some quick service meals instead. You can get some delicious meals at a quick service restaurant. And at half the price of a sit down restaurant!

3. Watch Your Airfare Price

Airfare prices go up and down quite often. Watch them and wait for prices that would be a good deal. This also varies from month to month. Try to avoid holidays if you are on a budget!

2. Use Disney Transportation Only

If you are flying and staying on Disney property, skip the rental car and use Disney transportation. Disney’s Magical Express will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. Plus there are buses that take you anywhere on Disney property, this can save you a few hundred bucks!
