Disney Is Redesigning Its Princesses, Will Debut New Looks Next Month

Disney is redesigning its princesses for one of its theme park locations, with the new looks debuting next month.

Whether you're visiting Disneyland Resort or Shanghai Disneyland, one of the common denominators across its theme parks is the opportunity to encounter iconic Disney characters.

The likes of Snow White, Cinderella, and Rapunzel pop up at parks across the globe, often appearing in designated meet-and-greet locations, parade routes, and character dining experiences.

That’s true of Disney Adventure World, the upcoming rebrand of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. From March 29, 2026, the park will feature a lineup led by World of Frozen, where guests can meet Anna and Elsa in addition to a brand-new walking-and-talking Olaf animatronic.

The expansion also adds Adventure Way, a new promenade that leads to Adventure Bay, a central lake designed as the setting for a new nighttime lake spectacular. Adventure Way’s attraction roster includes a Tangled-inspired ride, Raiponce Tangled Spin, as well as a princess character dining experience at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.

Disney Park Debuting Princess Re-Designs at Disney Adventure World

The park's new table-service restaurant, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, will introduce guests to brand-new designs for several iconic princesses.

According to DLP Report, the princesses featured at The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will wear “different outfits – something that doesn’t exist anywhere else.”

This princess lineup is confirmed to include the likes of Belle, Aurora, and Ariel, with imagery shared by Disney also including Merida and Jasmine. The restaurant itself is designed as the “favorite summer residence” of Disney princesses, offering stunning views of Adventure Bay both during the day and the evening.

We'll have to wait until The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge opens in March to see these new designs. However, we have received our first look at the restaurant's menu, designed by Chef Olivier Arthur and inspired by the worlds inhabited by Disney princesses.

The restaurant's Menu du Chêne Royal (€100, or $118, per adult) includes the likes of bluefin tuna tataki, North African-style roast guinea fowl, steak with onion confit, and Marc de Champagne frozen soufflé.

For breakfast (€60, or $71, per adult), guests can enjoy the likes of croissants and stewed apricots on the side of either a savory (smoked salmon and dill cream on Nordic bread with eggs and English muffins) or a sweet option (seasonal fruit salad with pancakes, blueberries, and maple syrup).

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge also features a bar area (hence the name) where guests can enjoy curated cocktails, such as the Princely Eden, Sereni'Fizz Highness, and the alcohol-free Enchanted Carriage.

While guests will need to book The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge in advance, the bar notably doesn't require a reservation – a rarity on Disney property.

“Drop by anytime and unwind in the only bar within the Disney Parks,” Disney says of the lounge area. “Enjoy its relaxed, elegant atmosphere — perfect for couples or friends — while taking in the breathtaking view over the lake. No reservation required.”

Disneyland Paris has long carried a reputation for inconsistent food quality, with critics often pointing to limited menus and uneven execution compared to U.S. parks.

New dining venues tied to the park’s expansion aim to shift that perception, with both The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge and Nordic Crowns Tavern in World of Frozen signaling a push toward more themed, higher-quality offerings designed to match the scale of the reimagined park.
