Disney Closes Two Starbucks Locations Effective Immediately

Thousands of Disney Park guests will have to look elsewhere for their caffeine fix as two popular Starbucks locations have officially shut down.

The Starbucks and Disney Partnership

Starbucks is one of the few third-party brands to operate within Disney Parks in the United States. At Walt Disney World Resort, guests can grab their favorite coffee beverages at Starbucks locations inside Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. Over on the West Coast, Disneyland Resort features two Starbucks locations in Downtown Disney as well as single locations inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

Beyond its presence inside Disney Parks, Starbucks has also become a go-to for exclusive Disney merchandise. From specialty tumblers to collectible mugs and ornaments, the coffee giant has collaborated with The Walt Disney Company to release highly sought-after items celebrating Disney’s most beloved icons and attractions.

Disneyland Paris Starbucks Locations Close

Across the pond, Disneyland Paris Resort also boasts Starbucks locations inside the parks and beyond. While guests can visit the popular coffee chain inside Disney Village, Disneyland Paris Resort has also offered convenient locations inside select Disney Resort hotels.

However, that’s no longer the case. Two Starbucks locations inside Disneyland Paris Resort hotels—Disney Hotel Santa Fe and Disney Hotel Cheyenne—have temporarily shuttered.

Disney Fanatic previously reported that these two Starbucks locations were scheduled to close for refurbishment. Now, as of February 17, a Disneyland Paris Resort guest has confirmed that both locations have officially ceased operations. With Starbucks no longer an option at these Disney Resort hotels, guests are left wondering where they’ll get their next caffeine boost. While no official replacement has been announced, the Rio Grande Bar at Disney Hotel Santa Fe is stepping in with an updated menu.

@pixiedust_be also shared photos of a new advertisement outside the now-closed Starbucks, noting:

At this time, Disneyland Paris Resort has not announced reopening dates for the Starbucks inside Disney Hotel Santa Fe and Disney Hotel Cheyenne. Disneyland Paris Resort guests looking for Starbucks can still find a location inside Disney Village or visit the nearby Marne-la-Vallée transportation hub.

Of course, Disney’s only European destination offers plenty of other Quick Service and Table Service options across Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney Village, and Disney Resort hotels. Guests can still find coffee at select dining locations throughout the resort.
