Disney’s Special Offers Land Guests In Lengthy Online Queue

Well, apparently we aren’t the only ones that like a good Walt Disney World Resort deal! With the news breaking of two new Disney special promotions available, it seems like the Walt Disney World website is overloaded with Guests which resulted in a virtual waiting room.

The two promotions include first a chance to save up to $500 on a 5-night stay at a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You can find the details here. The second promotion is especially great for Annual Passholders and Florida Residents looking to save up to 25% on select Disney World Resort hotels. Here are the details for that promotion.

So, of course, when great deals come out, Disney fans rush to the action! But, when visiting the Walt Disney World website, you may find yourself in a waiting queue.

Currently, as shown in the image below, when visiting the promotions page, you’ll find an image of Space Mountain with “We’re Almost in Orbit”. The Disney text goes on to say, “Thank you for your continued patience. Hang in there are you are making progress. We have a lot of Guests accessing our system, so you are now in a waiting room. Don’t refresh the page or select the back button.” This approximate wait time was 31 minutes.

Once you DO get in, Guests are allowed to spend 10 minutes on the site before being removed from the page as shown in the screenshot below:
