We love a good discount when planning our next Walt Disney World vacations, and this morning has been full of news of exciting special offers for trips to the resort early this year. One of the most popular special offers is sure to be the new promotion to save up to $500 off the cost of a resort stay at Walt Disney World select dates in 2022 (read our full post about this offer here).
If the dates for the $500 off promotion do not fit your travel plans or resort preferences however, and you happen to be an Annual Passholder or Florida resident don’t worry! Disney previously released a 25% savings offer that still has rooms available for select dates in early 2022. Here’s what you need to know to save up to 25% off your next Disney World hotel stay…
Florida residents can enjoy stays at Walt Disney World Resort hotels with 10-20% off their total stay depending on the resort, room type, and date. Like the Annual Passholder offer, these deals are valid for stays through March 10, 2022, however be sure to check the start date of the offer closely for the dates you can stay as some of them do not begin until February:
Proof of Florida residency is required at check-in for the above offer. The same guideline goes toward using Florida resident discounts for ticket purchases, as proof of residency will be required when you pick up your theme park tickets.
The current Annual Passholder savings covers up to 25% off select resort rooms for stays now through March 10, 2022. The total savings available varies from 10% off to 25% off, and may change based on the resort and date of travel. Here’s a quick breakdown of where these discounts are currently offered at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels for Annual Passholders:
As with all Walt Disney World resort room discounts, the maximum length of stay to take advantage of this savings is 14 nights, and there may be additional fees for extra occupancy in each room. A couple of room types you will notice are also excluded, including the standard Little Mermaid-themed rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the campsites at Fort Wilderness, however it does seem that a fair amount of rooms still have availability for this offer. While some availability remains, we do recommend booking early to be safe!
To book any of these offers, contact your travel agent or head to disneyworld.com to view a full list of special offers. Note that while on Walt Disney World’s website, you may be put into a waiting room before you get to the page where booking is possible. Lengthy waits have been reported in said waiting rooms, but if you have the time to wait it is still worth getting in line early to lock in the best possible savings.
