April at Walt Disney World Resort brings steadily rising crowds, perfect weather and slightly higher prices than January and February and March for your resort stay. Light crowds make for a more relaxing time in the parks but the downside is that Disney schedules ride refurbishments at this time. Crowds are bigger at the beginning of the month due to Easter and Spring break then taper off again around the end of the month.
Be sure you pack a light jacket or sweater as evenings can be a little nippy.
