The good news? Disney appears to have made a small but clever fix.
Per the site Kenny the Pirate, cast members near the front of the queue are now handing out bins so guests can stash their bags, phones, and drinks before stepping up to meet the couple, who debuted a reimagined look back in 2025. The bins get set on a table off to the side, which means nobody's fumbling to put down their belongings mid-photo-op. It sounds tiny, but on a recent party night, it reportedly helped the line actually move.
That said, don't expect miracles. Data pulled from Queue Times for August 28, 2026, shows the meet-and-greet sitting flat near zero for most of the day, since it's only open once the hard-ticket party kicks off. After that, posted waits bounced between about 30 and 50 minutes, then jumped to a reported 90 minutes at 9:05 p.m.
So yes, the bin trick seems to help, but this is still a line that demands patience. Disney hasn't said whether this is a permanent change or whether it'll spread to other high-demand meet-and-greets around the resort, so treat it as one party's snapshot rather than a guarantee.
Bottom line: if Jack and Sally are on your must-do list this Halloween season, get in that line early in the evening, pack your patience, and appreciate the small quality-of-life win while you wait.
