Walt Disney World’s Christmas season is getting closer, and guests staying at Disney hotels can now take care of another important piece of their holiday planning.
Dining reservations connected to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are officially open for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
That early booking opportunity includes several restaurants inside Magic Kingdom as well as Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party.
Other guests won't have to wait much longer, but Disney hotel guests currently have the first opportunity to secure their preferred dining experiences.
Disney Hotel Guests Get an Early Booking Opportunity
Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dining reservations up to 60 days before their arrival.
Disney also allows eligible hotel guests to make reservations for the length of their stay, up to 10 nights.
That can be especially helpful during a busy period like the Christmas season.
Instead of making dining reservations one day at a time as each date reaches the 60-day point, eligible hotel guests can potentially plan several days of dining when their initial reservation window opens.
Guests who aren't staying at a Disney World hotel will get their opportunity beginning September 9.
For those attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, that means it's time to start deciding how much of the evening they want to dedicate to dining.
Four Restaurants Are Available During the Party
Disney has four restaurants available for dining reservations during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Guests can choose from Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella’s Royal Table, The Plaza Restaurant, and The Beak and Barrel.
Each option offers a different way to incorporate dining into the Christmas party.
However, guests may want to think carefully about when they make their reservation.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party gives visitors a limited amount of time to experience its special entertainment and other offerings. Spending a portion of that evening inside a table-service restaurant could mean missing time elsewhere in Magic Kingdom.
For guests who already planned to visit one of these restaurants, that may not matter. Dining inside Cinderella Castle or the Beast’s castle could easily become another memorable part of the evening.
Visitors more interested in maximizing party time may prefer eating earlier.

Disney Opens Christmas Fireworks Dessert Party Reservations
There's another option available for guests who want to add something extra to their Christmas party.
Reservations for Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party are also open.
Disney offers two versions of the experience.
Both include seasonal snacks at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and reserved viewing for the fireworks. Where guests watch the show depends on which option they purchase.
The higher-priced dessert party allows guests to stay seated at Tomorrowland Terrace for the fireworks.
The less expensive option moves guests to a reserved Plaza Garden viewing area.
That could be appealing to visitors who don't want to spend part of their evening searching for a fireworks location.
With so much happening during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, having one part of the night already planned could make things easier.
