Disney World Resort Hotels 101 – An Overview of Staying at a Disney Resort Property

4. Moderate Resorts

As their tier name implies, Disney’s Moderate Resorts sit at the middle price point of the three. Accommodations here are noticeably nicer than at the Value Resorts without being full-on luxurious.

They are:

  • Caribbean Beach— Lush tropical theme with exotic foliage and colonial architecture.
  • Coronado Springs— Bask in the romance of Spanish-colonial Mexico, complete with Mayan pyramids.
  • Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter— Live jazz, Mardi Gras charm, Creole food…what’s not to love?
  • Port Orleans Resort – Riverside— Experience either the rustic charm and hospitality of the Louisiana
Bayou or the stately elegance of the Antebellum South.
  • Fort Wilderness (Cabins)
    — If camping’s not your style, upgrade to one of Fort Wilderness’ cabins and settle into the greatest comfort you’ll find on the American frontier.
