Happy Monday, Disney Fanatics!

Time for another look at Walt Disney World weather predicted for the last week of February.

As of Monday, February 21, it looks to be a beautiful week to visit Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Partly sunny skies are expected throughout the week with very little chance of rain, and temperatures are expected to fluctuate between the low 60s and mid-to-high-80s.

20+ degree changes are common during Florida, especially during late winter and early spring, and high percentages of humidity are expected, which makes warmer temperatures feel warmer and the cooler temperatures feel colder. We would advise Fanatics planning to visit the Theme Parks this week to carry a sweater with them and remember to stay hydrated throughout the day.

As Central Florida temperatures return close to 90, Guests should also take into account the UV index is predicted to be rather high, 7 out of 10.

Besides the weather, Guests should also expect significantly larger Disney World crowds for the week of February 21. All four Theme Parks should be expected to come close to their max capacity on Monday, February 21, and Tuesday, February 22, as all Park Reservations are booked by Theme Park Ticket Holders and Select Resort Hotel Guests. Only EPCOT Park Reservations remain for the rest of the week.

Guests should also be reminded that Disney World has recently made face masks optional in all outdoor and indoor areas, save for “enclosed transportation” like the Walt Disney World Monorail System and bus transportation. While Disney said this loosening of restrictions was only privy to fully vaccinated Guests, no vaccination status check is in place.

Conditions at The Walt Disney World Resort are likely to change as the week goes on, and we at Disney Fanatic will be keeping our ears to the ground, ready to update our readers as developments happen.
