Happy Monday and Happy Valentine’s Day, Disney Fanatics! It’s time for another weekly weather report for the Walt Disney World Resort.
According to Weather.com, it’s going to be a crisp Valentine’s Day with temperatures fluctuating between the high 40s and mid-60s, but the days will get progressively warmer as the week goes on.
By Thursday, February 17, temperatures at Walt Disney World will be hitting close to 90º Fahrenheit, with current highs that day and Friday expected to be in the high 80s.
Along with the rising heat, Guests should also expect partly cloudy skies and a UV Index level of 6 throughout the week. Rain is not expected until Saturday, February 19. But the showers will only provide momentarily lower temps, as Sunday will be in the 80s once again.
This week will also be quite a blustery one. Winds over 10 mph will be blowing through during the day. The strongest winds are expected on Wednesday at a predicted speed of 16 mph. So, be sure to hold on extra tight to those treasured Mickey balloons.
If you and your party are looking to adventure through Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom this week, remember to stay hydrated.
Beyond the weather, crowds are also expected to be higher than normal this week, and especially the weekend due to President’s Day occurring on Monday, February 21. Please be sure to plan accordingly.
