Surprise Spill Contaminates Busy Main Street at Disneyland California

Disneyland Park‘s Main Street, U.S.A., is known for its pristine charm and old-fashioned magic, but even the happiest place on Earth isn’t immune to messy mishaps. A guest recently captured a surprising spill on Disneyland Resort’s busiest walkway, drawing attention on social media.

Disneyland Resort’s iconic horses, trained to pull carriages and streetcars, are a cherished part of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park‘s charm. However, working with live animals always comes with its own unique challenges. Redditor u/thebazookaman shared a snapshot of an unfortunate moment on Main Street, U.S.A., where one of Disneyland Park’s equine cast members left an unexpected contribution right in the middle of the parade route.

“Awesome view of the castle today,” the Redditor captioned their photo, which shows Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background and the offending spill front and center.

The post quickly sparked a wave of comments from Disney Parks fans eager to share their memorable moments with Disneyland Resort’s horses.

“I swear that’s got to be the horse’s spot,” u/PaulClarkLoadLetter wrote. “We had to stop once and got a front row (back side?) view of poop coming out. My son clocked it as we knew he would. ‘Poopie.'”

“I can smell this pic,” u/RockNRoll85 added.

Thankfully, Disneyland Resort’s horses are accompanied by dedicated cast members equipped with shovels and buckets to handle these types of situations. Main Street, U.S.A., was likely restored to its usual picture-perfect state within minutes.

Disneyland Resort’s horses are more than just theme park attractions; they’re cherished members of the Disney theme park family. These animals live at Circle D Ranch, a state-of-the-art facility in Norco, California. Opened in 2017, the ranch was home to 18 horses at the time, each receiving top-notch care and training.

Meanwhile, over at Walt Disney World Resort, the horses that roam the parks and participate in parades call the Tri-Circle-D Ranch home. Both facilities ensure that Disney’s equine cast members are well cared for, allowing them to continue delighting guests for years to come.
