We all remember the first time we entered a Disney Park. You head through the gate, under the train tracks, and out into Main Street, U.S.A.. You are immediately transported to another world.

You round the corner and see the iconic castle. It doesn’t matter if your first visit was to Walt Disney World in Central Florida or the Disneyland Resort in California; we all remember our first time.

And maybe that’s why we return to Disneyland or Disney World year after year. We are all trying to capture that magic moment when we walk down Main Street, U.S.A., toward Cinderella Castle or Sleeping Beauty Castle, and we are all kids again.

You get to feel that joy again the first time you take your kids to a Disney theme park. But Brooke and Rhett Scheurn captured the pleasure of bringing their one-year-old daughter, Cloves, to the Disneyland Resort for the first time. Except, they captured it a little differently.

The Scheurns decided to attach a go-pro camera to their daughter as she walked around the Disneyland Park and gave the viewer a first-person point-of-view shot of everything Cloves saw and the pure, childlike joy that she was experiencing.

Brook cut the video and posted it to TikTok. She wrote:

I had such a fun time editing this. It took a while but here are some of the cutest moments captured from Cloves’ point of view. This is how she reacted being at Disneyland for her first time.

The footage captures Cloves’ first ride on “it’s a small world” and her first time meeting Cinderella and other Disney characters. The video starts with her walking down Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A., and ends with her on the carousel.

The video showing Cloves’ tour of the Disneyland attractions has been viewed 6.5 million times on social media.

Nearly all of the comments on the video were positive, including those that praised the new view of the parks and that Cloves made the Disneyland Park attractions perfect.

It is refreshing to see young kids enjoying Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure. It is a reminder that the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort can bring out the kid in all of us. Perhaps we can all find our inner Peter Pan.
