A recent frightening incident at Disneyland Paris Resort left one guest unconscious on the Avengers Assemble: Flight Force roller coaster. Disney’s quick-acting cast members were already on the scene when the coaster returned to the loading platform, ensuring the woman received the appropriate care. Thankfully, no emergency medical intervention was needed, and the woman recovered shortly after the incident.
The roller coaster opened in 2022 in Avengers Campus at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be renamed Disney Adventure World). It may feel familiar to long-time Disney Parks fans, as it’s a rethemed version of the well-known Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
While Disneyland Paris has rethemed its version of the roller coaster, Walt Disney World Resort’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios remains the sole park in the world where the original Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster continues to operate. However, that won’t be the case for long—Disney has announced that the Central Florida theme park will shut down the ride in early 2026 for a retheme based on the Muppets Mayhem series.
TikTok user @alexhird96 recounted the alarming moment during their visit to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park. According to the TikTok user, their mother suddenly lost consciousness while the family was riding Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. As soon as the cast members noticed the situation, they acted quickly, waiting at the unload platform to assist the woman and escort her to the First Aid station.

With the help of several Disney cast members, the woman was able to climb out of the ride vehicle. Fortunately, she did not require further medical treatment. After a bit of rest, the family shared their experience on TikTok, recalling the shocking moment when the woman lost consciousness. The TikToker described the moment vividly: “Casey was shouting her name, and she wasn’t responding.”
“I could not speak,” the woman replied. “…’ He said to me, ‘Watch your head, because it throws you around,’ and I knew what was coming because of Rock’ n’ Roller Coaster, but it was ten times worse. I thought, ‘I am going to die.’”
Thankfully, the woman appears to have fully recovered from the experience, though it’s safe to assume that she won’t be eager to hop back on Avengers Assemble: Flight Force anytime soon!
If you experience any health concerns or emergencies during your visit to a Disney park, don’t hesitate to inform a cast member or visit one of the park’s First Aid stations.
