In April 1961, Walt Disney himself dedicated the Snow White Grotto, a tranquil spot in Disneyland Park. Located at the eastern end of the moat around Sleeping Beauty Castle, this sweet wishing well is a place for Disney Guests to make their wish by tossing a coin in. Statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, along with some of Snow White’s animal friends have become an iconic spot for photos and wishes… and also the perfect spot for a Disneyland Resort proposal!

What makes this Disneyland spot even sweeter is that the coins collected from wishes being tossed in by Guests are regularly cleaned out and donated by Disney to children’s charities. On the well, you’ll notice the sentiment: “Your wishes will help children everywhere.”
