Disney wants everyone who visits its theme parks to have a magical and memorable time. They also want guests to behave in a polite and safe manner, which is why there are set policies and procedures that every guest must follow.

While most rules are typically not discussed, Disney’s dress code has definitely stirred up its fair share of controversy over the years. Some guests have worked really hard to actively break the dress code rules, annoying many other people. Others realize their Disney costume dreams by planning adorable Disneybounding outfits.

Disney’s rules state that guests over the age of 14 are not allowed to wear costumes in the parks. And guests are not allowed to wear masks that cover their faces.

Recently, a guest visiting Disneyland Resort decided to go all out on his costume, and Disney security was forced to step in and prevent him from entering the parks.

In a video shared by Marissa (whencanwedisneyagain) on TikTok, the guest was wearing a costume that looked like an exact replica of the one worn by Deadpool. The outfit was complete with the full head covering and the swords on his back (which were most likely fake).

Public reactions have been diverse, with many users expressing shock that the guest believed his costume would be permissible within the park. Comments ranged from disbelief to speculation about whether the individual intended to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash, an event where costume participation is encouraged—albeit within specific guidelines.

Guests attending Oogie Boogie Bash are allowed to wear costumes, regardless of their age. However, the costumes cannot be obstructive, and full face coverings are not allowed.

Unfortunately, we do not know what happened to the guest in the video. It is possible that he was allowed in after removing his face mask and weapons. However, it is more likely that Disneyland security told him he would not be allowed into the theme park until he changed into an appropriate outfit.

If you are planning on visiting a Disney park, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the rules. You don’t want to ruin your magical trip by accidentally breaking the rules!

Do you think the guest made an honest mistake? Or was he trying to push the boundaries and get into the park with an outfit he knew he could not wear? Let us know in the comments!
