The Reimagined Epcot
Epcot is following close behind Hollywood Studios with some seriously amazing updates. A large portion of this park is currently under construction, and will be completely new and different from the Epcot we’ve all known for all these years.
New Attractions
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — An amazing indoor Guardians of the Galaxy-themed coaster, this ride is set to open in 2021.
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — Scheduled to open in summer of this year, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a trackless ride that uses screens to send you on an adventure through Remy’s kitchen.
- DuckTales: World Showcase Adventure — Replacing the Phineas and Ferb detective game that once lived in the World Showcase, this game is already available for guests to play using the Disney Play app.
- The Play Pavilion — Interact with favorite characters and more in this super fun city that emphasizes the power of play.
New Restaurants
- Regal Eagle — Regal Eagle just opened in the World Showcase’s America Pavilion, and it is wonderful. The barbecue is very well done, the prices are just right, and the sauces are delicious.
- Space 220 — An incredible themed dining experience unlike any we’ve seen before, Space 220 takes guests onto a “space station” where they can enjoy a delicious meal. This is one that will definitely be worth visiting when it opens sometime in 2020.
- La Creperie De Paris — A new dining location opening in the summer 2020, La Creperie De Paris will be serving up crepes and other French favorites in a sit-down setting.
New Entertainment
- Canada Far and Wide — A completely revamped video all about Canada, this is a super fun addition to the World Showcase that can already be viewed in the Canada Pavilion today.
- Beauty and the Beast Sing Along — Yet another addition to the France Pavilion, this sing-along video plays only in the daytime, taking turns with “Impressions de France” (which takes the evening slots). It’s a fun twist on an old story, and a great excuse to belt out some of your favorite songs.
- Awesome Planet — Replacing the “Circle of Life” video in The Land Pavilion, Awesome Planet uses some beautiful cinematography to send a strong and important message about caring for our planet.
- HarmonioUS — Fairly recently, Epcot closed an old favorite, “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth”, and currently, “Epcot Forever” is standing in its place. However, this show is only temporary and will also be replaced by a much bigger, much more spectacular show called “HarmonioUS”.
