Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder has always been a little different than being a regular vacation guest.
Passholders can pop into the parks for a few hours, visit during festivals, grab a favorite snack, or spend an evening enjoying attractions without worrying about getting everything done in one trip. For many Florida residents, that flexibility is exactly what makes an Annual Pass so appealing.

Right now, Disney is making it easier to get started—but not for much longer.
The company's special $99 down payment promotion for Florida residents is set to expire on June 24. After that date, guests purchasing an Annual Pass through Disney's monthly payment program will likely have to pay a larger amount upfront.
The offer applies to all Annual Pass options, from the Disney Pixie Dust Pass to the premium Disney Incredi-Pass. Buyers still pay the full cost of the pass over time, but the reduced down payment lowers the initial financial hurdle.
For some families, that's enough to turn a “maybe someday” decision into a purchase.
Disney's Annual Pass program continues to be popular among local residents because it offers much more than park admission. Passholders frequently receive merchandise discounts, dining discounts, resort savings, and access to exclusive promotions throughout the year.
At the same time, it's important to understand that Annual Passes still come with rules. Certain pass tiers have blockout dates, and reservations may still be required depending on when and where guests plan to visit.

That means prospective buyers should carefully compare the different pass options before choosing one.
Even with those restrictions, many Florida residents continue to see strong value in Annual Pass ownership. A few visits throughout the year can quickly make the pass worthwhile, especially for guests who enjoy returning for festivals, holiday celebrations, and special events.
The biggest question now isn't whether Disney's offer is good. It's whether interested buyers are willing to act before June 24 arrives.

Once the deadline passes, the reduced down payment disappears, and Disney has not announced any replacement promotion. For locals who have been waiting for the right moment to become passholders, this may be the final call before the deal goes away.
