Doing Disney Like A Rock Star – How VIPs Enjoy The Most Magical Place On Earth

Cinderella's Castle

Every wonder how the rich and famous vacation at Disney World? Here are a few clues…

1. Rock Star Accommodations – When you’re used to living large, of course you’d want the Asante Suite at Animal Kingdom Lodge. VIPs can enjoy the 2100 square feet to spread out for just $3000 per night. Jim Gaffigan mentioned staying at the Animal Kingdom in his comedy special, and Adam Sandler was photographed there…perhaps they called the Asante Suite their home at Disney?

2. Rock Star Attractions – Often you’ll candid shots of celebrities like Jessica Alba or Kourtney Kardashian with a cast member in a plaid vest hanging around nearby. That’s their VIP guide, and he or she is basically a personal concierge for the park. VIP guides get their guests FastPass access to EVERYTHING, premium seating at shows and parades, and even pick up snacks while VIPs wait in the shade. Basically, whatever you want! VIP tours are available to anyone—for a mere $400-$600 per hour depending on the season.

3. Rock Star Transportation – It is doubtful that you’ll see a rock star on the monorail or a ferry boat. The Private Premium VIP Tour comes with door to door transportation in a luxury SUV. Celebrities can’t be bothered with a tram, for goodness’ sake.

4. Rock Star Tours – When you’re a rock star, you get used to being backstage. So of course celebrities would want to take behind-the-scenes and special access tours of Disney World. For instance, model Kate Upton and MLB pitcher Justin Verlander chose to do the Wild Africa Trek where they enjoyed close access to the animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris. You could do that tour (or another like it) too—for around $250 per person.

5. Rock Star Meals – When money is no object and discretion is a priority, celebrities probably choose the renowned Victoria and Alberts Chef’s Table in the Grand Floridian. Victoria and Alberts is known as the swankiest venue overall with general guests easily spending hundreds of dollars. But the Chef’s Table is the ultimate in privacy (seating only one party per night), and therefore demands a higher price. For food and drink, the Chef’s Table will run a VIP at minimum $350 per person. I’d say that’s definitely partying like a rock star.

6. Rock Star Souvenirs – What better way to commemorate a VIP Disney trip than with a commemorative 20 inch Cinderella’s Castle statue? The artists at Arribas Brothers have created a sparkly line of figurines, jewelry, and home accessories for Disney guests with exquisite tastes (and large bank accounts). A VIP could purchase the castle—encrusted with 28,255 Swarovski crystals—for $37,500. (Side note: check out the online comments on this item for a few laughs.)
