Epcot Dining Guide (Mexico – Germany)

Guests wanting a culinary world tour tasting cuisine from around the world are encouraged to check out the countries of World Showcase. These countries feature a variety of table and quick service restaurants that allow guests to try as much or as little of the cuisine they’d like.  With some many different options available to guests, you need to research what is offered at these restaurants.  Here is the dining guide for Epcot’s World Showcase starting in Mexico and going to Germany.

1. Nine Dragons (China, table service)

Guests wanting a traditional Chinese meal can find it at Nine Dragons at both lunch and dinner. Guests can start with appetizers of dumplings, spring rolls, and pot stickers.  As an entrée, guests have numerous delicious choices: kung pao shrimp and chicken, salt and pepper shrimp, honey-sesame chicken, moo goo gai pan, as well as a five-spice fish.  This is great restaurant to grab a late reservation as the windows overlook the World Showcase Lagoon and guests can take in the nightly fireworks show!

2. Biergarten (Germany, table service)

This restaurant is unique in many respects.  First, guests can enjoy as much as they care to as the food is served buffet-style. Secondly, to capitalize on the Oktoberfest theming, guests are seated a variety of long picnic tables that encourage guests to speak with those sitting around you while enjoying your food (and if you’re 21 or older, drink).  On the buffet, guests can expect to find a variety of cold salads, rolls, soup, bratwurst, oven-roasted potatoes, roasted chicken, fresh baked cod, macaroni and cheese, sauerbraten, meatloaf, meatballs, and a roast pork ham.  Also on the buffet is a variety of desserts – cheesecake, black forest cake, strudel, cookies, and more!

3. San Angel Inn Restaurante (Mexico, table service)

This restaurant can be found inside of the pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion overlooking the water and the beginning of the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction.  Guests are able to dine here for both lunch and dinner and choose from a variety of delicious entrees — chile rellenos, carne asada, mole poblano, and a variety of tacos.  Guests can also feast on authentic Mexican desserts, too, so be sure to save room for dessert!
