Planning on dropping by Club Cool at EPCOT any time soon? Prepare for a much more limited selection of beverages on offer.
Club Cool – known for allowing visitors to sample sodas from around the world completely free of charge – has long been a highlight for those eager to explore global flavors.
However, recent disruptions have left guests with fewer options, frustrating fans who treasure the unique offerings.
Shortages Hit Global Drink Selection
The trouble began when China’s Sour Plum Tea disappeared from the lineup, followed by the Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon.
Now, the Dominican Republic’s Country Club Merengue is also unavailable, leaving gaps in the once-expansive selection. To make matters worse, two drink stations are reportedly completely out of order, with signs reading, “Please Try Another Flavor,” further limiting guests’ choices.
At the moment, the remaining drinks available at Club Cool are:
- Beverly (an infamously bitter Italian aperitif)
- Bon Bon Anglais (a tropical fruit soda from Madagascar)
- Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee (a fruity juice from Korea)
- Sprite Cucumber (a surprisingly refreshing Russian beverage)
- Viva Raspberry (a sparkling, slightly tart drink from Moldova)
Past Shortages at Club Cool
This isn’t the first time Club Cool has faced supply issues.
In 2022, EPCOT experienced similar shortages, largely attributed to supply chain disruptions. However, the 2023 shortage left an even more notable impact when the attraction was left with only one drink: Beverly, which we’re sure went down well with unsuspecting guests.
While previous shortages were resolved relatively quickly, the current situation has raised concerns about how long the issue will persist this time.
EPCOT’s Other Global Offerings Remain Strong
While you may not be able to savor free samples quite like Club Cool, guests can still enjoy beverages from around the world in EPCOT’s World Showcase. Whether it’s Mexico, Norway, or China, the pavilions offer opportunities for guests to learn and indulge in authentic cultural experiences.
For those seeking drinks beyond the Club Cool experience, EPCOT still offers a variety of international beverages. At Choza de Margarita in the Mexico Pavilion, guests can enjoy refreshing margaritas and tequila-based cocktails.
Over at the UK Pavilion, the Beer Cart serves up a variety of beers from across the pond. Meanwhile, France presents a selection of fine wines and champagne, while Italy offers robust wines and limoncello. For tea enthusiasts, the China Pavilion’s Joy of Tea features everything from bubble tea to oolong tea.
While Club Cool’s current shortages may be an inconvenience, EPCOT remains a destination that celebrates global flavors and traditions. As the park works to address these supply issues, guests can continue to enjoy the cultural richness that has made EPCOT a beloved experience for decades.
