EPCOT’s Food Lineup Is Changing Fast With 59 New Festival Items

EPCOT’s food scene is evolving rapidly, and the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts makes that change impossible to ignore. Disney has introduced 59 new food items for the festival, transforming what was once a predictable seasonal menu into a wide-ranging culinary reset.

This update reaches across the entire park, from World Celebration to World Showcase, signaling that Disney is treating festival food as a primary driver of the EPCOT experience rather than a supporting feature.

A Festival That Feels Intentionally Rebuilt

Unlike previous years, where new items were mixed in with familiar staples, many food studios in 2026 feature mostly new menus. In World Celebration, guests will find items like the Soft Shell Crab Slider with green papaya slaw and mango ketchup, as well as the visually striking Enchanted Rose, a dark chocolate mousse dessert.

At The Deconstructed Dish, new entries include the Deconstructed BLT, built with pork belly, soft-poached egg, and onion bread pudding, along with a new Deconstructed Key Lime Pie layered with curd, toasted meringue, and waffle cone pieces.

Figment’s Menu Grows More Playful

Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey expands its lineup with items designed to be both colorful and indulgent. The Popcorn, Popcorn Chicken and Waffles combines sweet and savory elements into a single dish, while desserts like the Figment Fantasy Cake and Color Scheme Cake lean heavily into the festival’s artistic theme.

These additions reinforce the booth’s role as one of the festival’s most visually distinctive stops.

World Showcase Drives the Change

The most dramatic menu expansion appears throughout World Showcase. Mexico introduces several new items, including the Chile Relleno Taco with seared beef tenderloin and the Tostada de Cangrejo topped with lump crab and mango. A Passion Fruit Paleta finished with chili-lime seasoning rounds out the offerings.

China adds General Tso’s Chicken Shumai, a Char Siu Pork Bun, and an Egg Tart, while Italy brings in Polenta Pasticciata and Raspberry Spuma. Germany’s menu includes Red Wine-braised Beef Short Rib, and Norway debuts the Hazelnut Praline Boller.

Elevated Options in The American Adventure

At The American Adventure, Disney introduces some of the festival’s most substantial plates. The Steakhouse Lobster Caesar Salad, Peppercorn-crusted Striploin, and Dark Chocolate Torte blur the line between festival fare and full entrées, offering guests more filling options.

EPCOT’s Direction Becomes Clear

With 59 new food items introduced at once, Disney is clearly signaling a shift. EPCOT’s festivals are no longer built around a few standout dishes—they are becoming comprehensive dining events in their own right.

For guests attending the Festival of the Arts in 2026, the experience will feel markedly new. With so many updated menus, EPCOT is encouraging exploration, repeat visits, and a renewed focus on food as a central part of the park’s identity.

This rapid evolution suggests that EPCOT’s festival dining strategy is far from finished—and that future events may continue to build on this approach.
