Fan Favorite Buffets Around Disney World Resort

Buffet Cape May Cafe

Most guests try and spend as much time as possible in the parks when they visit Disney World.  Between character interactions, nighttime spectaculars, and classic attractions, there certainly is much to see and do.  However, the Disney resorts are home to some fantastic dining options — specifically buffets and all-you-care-to-enjoy concepts that are definitely worth your time! Here is our list of the best buffets at the Disney resorts!

Cape May Café

Serving both breakfast and dinner to guests, the Cape May Café is a unique restaurant and one you’ll definitely want to check out. At breakfast, guests can dine on classic breakfast options — eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, fruit, breakfast potatoes, and much more!  In addition to a diverse breakfast menu, guests also have the opportunity to meet and greet Minnie, Goofy, and Donald as they circulate between the guest’s tables. Dinner will be a seafood lover’s dream — all-you-care-to-enjoy amounts of crab legs and clams.  Land lovers need not fret as there are also selections of pasta and other non-seafood selections, as well as numerous side dishes!

Trail’s End

Offering meals to guests morning, noon, or night, Trail’s End is a great option for guests for multiple reasons.  First, the menu offers classic homestyle food — guests can have their fill of ribs, chicken, select fish, classic side dishes, and an array of delicious desserts.  Given the restaurant’s location (at the back of Fort Wilderness near the shores of Bay Lake), it takes a little while for guests to get there, so it isn’t always difficult to find a table, even on short notice.  Lastly, even though it is a buffet, no characters appear at any of the meals, which keeps the overall cost low and the value high!  After the meal, guests can have a drink at the adjoining Crockett’s Tavern or enjoy a stroll around some of the campgrounds!

Whispering Canyon Café (Wilderness Lodge)

A guest favorite whether staying at the resort or not, Whispering Canyon Café is a family-style skillet dining concept where guests have the food brought directly to them at their table.  Whispering Canyon offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  At breakfast, guests can choose the breakfast platter, but can also select a simple entrée if their appetite isn’t huge.  The same is true at lunch and dinner, but the all-you-care-to-enjoy platter offers too many mouth-watering choices that guests shouldn’t pass it up — ribs, barbecue pulled pork, roasted chicken, sausage, served with mashed potatoes, baked beans, and corn on the cob.  And with a price point a few dollars more than other selections, the platter offers guests the best value!
