Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen is the new highly anticipated restaurant coming to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress located right next to the Walt Disney World Resort. We have been following the restaurant’s progress closely while anticipating it opening by the end of the year, and we just learned of the official opening date!
The new Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen will officially open on December 3, 2021. When it opens at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Four Flamingos will be the first restaurant in Florida by Chef Richard Blais.
The menu will feature fresh, local ingredients to create unique flavors all inspired by Florida. Upcoming menu items include Mahi Mahi, stone crab, and signature steak cuts all with a focus on fresh, local items with a variety of surf and turf options. The menu will mirror the restaurant’s nostalgic tropical appearances with nods to Florida’s unique and vibrant landscape, and Guests will also be able to see into the open kitchen and view the cooking process.
Even the restaurant’s name is a nod to Florida’s vibrant atmosphere and natural settings. Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen takes its name from the four different species of flamingo that are native to he Americas. Flamingos are also known to gather and eat in groups, much like many of the Guests visiting the restaurant and the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, especially during a Walt Disney World vacation with the whole family.
Beginning December 3, 2021, Four Flamingos: A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen will be open nightly for dinner at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The resort is located adjacent to the Walt Disney World Resort, and can be a great option for families looking for the added flexibility in amenities and pricing while still staying very close to the Walt Disney World theme parks.
