This year’s Special Olympics USA Games take place in Orlando, FL with a number of events scheduled for ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World. With the event kicking off in just a couple of weeks, the full schedule of events has now been released, along with tickets to attend the opening ceremonies.

The opening ceremony takes place at Orlando’s Exploria Stadium on Sunday, June 5, 2022, with the full lineup of events for the Special Olympics USA Games running through Saturday, June 11, 2022. Many of the events outside of those with special requirements (ie: golf, equestrian, etc…) are scheduled to take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports, with bocce tournaments taking place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and surfing at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon waterpark.

The opening ceremony is shaping up to be an incredible event with a packed lineup of 500 performers in collaboration with Disney Live Entertainment. Notable performers scheduled to be at the event include Walt Disney World’s own Voices of Liberty a cappella group from EPCOT’s American Adventure pavilion, as well as Grammy award-winning singer Sara Bareilles.
