Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Cast Member Costumes Revealed

With the official opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind almost one month away, Disney has shared a sneak peek at the new Cast Member costumes Guests can expect to see soon at the Wonders of Xandar pavilion. This all-new EPCOT pavilion, which will house the thrilling Guardians of the Galaxy attraction, is the first of its kind for the park as it is EPCOT’s first otherworldly pavilion.

Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley took to Instagram to share the details of the newest Cast Member costumes to arrive in EPCOT. Riddley explains, “Like all our experiences, our Cast have a role in our story. In this experience our Cast will be emissaries of Xandar as members of the Nova Corps, helping Guests along their adventure through the attraction. The costumes pull from style, color and iconography we have only gotten glimpses of within the Nova Corps and the world of Xandar. Now we get to step into this world for the very first time.”

Previously, Disney released details on what Guests can expect to see inside the queue for the attraction, aka the Galaxarium, as well as information on previews for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, and D23 members ahead of the ride’s official opening.

When Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opens in EPCOT on May 27, 2022, the attraction will be the first at Walt Disney World to feature a reverse launch. While it will surely offer a healthy dose of thrills as well as favorite characters and a new storyline inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy, all with a 42′ height requirement making it a family-friendly coaster that Guests of a number of ages will be able to enjoy.
