Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the latest thrill ride coming to the Walt Disney World Resort set to open this summer in EPCOT. The attraction will not only be the first to feature characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Walt Disney World, but it will also include a number of technological advancements that are sure to make this ride through the galaxy a memorable one.
The official Disney Parks TikTok account just shared a first look inside the Galaxarium, which includes the queue area that Guests will walk through before boarding their ride vehicles, and you have to see this!

The video above shows the view Guests will see as they enter the attraction through the Wonders of Xandar pavilion, where they will pass through this breathtaking space called the Galaxarium. From here, Guests will be immersed in the story of Guardians of the Galaxy as they can view Earth, the planet Xandar, and more incredible sites from around the galaxy.
While not shown in the video above, Disney has already shared that Academy Award-nominated actress Glenn Close will be reprising her role as Nova Prime from Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), so Guests will likely encounter her before or after their visit to the Galaxarium. During Guests’ encounters with Nova Prime, they will be able to learn more about the Xandarians and the new technologies that their communities can bring to Earth.
This previously released poster for the attraction shows fan-favorite characters from the film such as Rocket, Groot, Gamora, Drax, and Star-Lored, with the all-new design of ride vehicles shown as well:
The ride itself will be an all-new take on the thrilling family-friendly roller coaster concept, in what will be one of the longest fully enclosed coasters in the world right here in EPCOT. And while it is set to be a thrilling experience (it is Walt Disney World’s first reverse launch coaster, after all) it is sure to offer loads of fun for the whole family, and we can’t wait to experience it for ourselves when it opens this summer!
