Only four days now stand between Disney World Guests and the official opening of the highly-praised new roller coaster Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and another milestone has been reached.
It appears that the virtual queue for the new attraction has been added to the My Disney Experience app in preparation for the big day.
Check it out:
According to the app’s page, “Starting May 27, Guests can request to join the virtual queue at 7:00 AM (valid theme park ticket and Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT required) or 1:00 Pm after entering EPCOT).”
Disney World further elaborates, saying that the virtual queue is subject to availability, and Guests will only be allowed to enter the queue once per day.
It does appear, however, that the virtual queue will only be offered to those Guests with an EPCOT Theme Park Reservation. So, like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guests visiting EPCOT via the Park Hopper option after 2:00 pm will not be able to have a chance to ride the new indoor roller coaster.
We at Disney Fanatic recently reported that all of the available Theme Park Reservations for EPCOT on Cosmic Rewind’s opening day, May 27, have already been claimed. Any Guests planning on visiting the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow this Memorial Day weekend should expect to be amongst a max capacity crowd.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has already been playing host to media, Annual Passholder, and Disney Vacation Club previews, and has received stellar reviews (including one much deserved from this reporter). It is most likely going to be a mad dash at 7:00 am for the virtual queue.

But would-be Guests should keep in mind that Cosmic Rewind will also offer Individual Lightning Lane access in the event the virtual queue is inaccessible.
The Guardians of the will be the latest to utilize the ‘s , following its fellow EPCOT , .
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to monitor this story as well as other Disney Park news, and we will update our readers as more developments come to light.
