Guest Reveals All Of Disney’s Worst Meals

For many Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort Guests, one of the biggest highlights of a Disney vacation is the food that can be found within the Disney Parks, Disney restaurants, and Disney Resorts. There are classic comfort food staples like Mickey waffles, but there are also high-end cuisine options that have (surprisingly) brought some EPCOT and World Showcase customers to tears.

However, many Disney Guests have been leaving their meals dissatisfied (particularly since Disney restaurants’ prices have risen in many cases), and one self-proclaimed “Disney Foodie” has had enough!

In a Disney-themed video called “Worst Eats of 2022”, a so-called “Disney Foodie” (@wrightdownmainstreet) shared their thoughts on the worst Walt Disney World food of 2022.

“Wright Down Main Street” began the video by trying out a seasonal milkshake from Hollywood Scoops in Hollywood Studios, which is the fourth Disney Park in Disney World alongside the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT.

“Don’t be fooled,” the Disney Guest said of the milkshakes. “They are weirdly warm, not the right consistency, and extremely overpriced at about $10.” The self-proclaimed “Disney Foodie” then turned to some macaroni and cheese from Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Disney has many quick-service mac and cheese options available, but Wright Down Main Street made it clear that these “generic” offerings “used to be amazing”; now, they have apparently “gone downhill.”

Another Disney restaurant and dining establishment that found itself under attack was Disney’s Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater; this dine-in restaurant mimics a drive-in movie, but apparently, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Wright Down Main Street asserted that the restaurant’s wings were “a poor excuse for” the dish, and that they were “covered in way too much sauce, and…so tiny.”

The TikToker headed to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park as well, and tried a dubious-looking hot dog called a Glow Dog. This hot dog is decorated with blue sauce, since it is part of the H2O Glow After Hours event.

“The hot dog itself was… not good, and then it was topped with a blue-dyed cheese sauce. I’ll leave it at that,” the TikToker said. Their least favorite 2022 Disney World meal, however, is the truffle mac and cheese that can be found at Citricos within Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

“This is mushroom overload, and it was just off paired with the gnocchi pasta,” the Tiktoker stated. “I very rarely do not finish what I order, but after a few bites, I threw in the towel with this one.”

The TikTok user was met with many other Disney Guests’ agreements. As one TikTok user and Disney Guest put it, “I feel like most disney food in general has gone way downhill. Was kinda dissapointed on my last trip. If youre not fine dining its not great.”

“I still can’t believe they charged 15 USD for 4 wings. That’s wild,” another TikTok user wrote.

Have you found Disney food to be lacking on your most recent Disney vacations? Do you think that Disney food is worse in the Magic Kingdom Disney Park, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT (including the World Showcase), or Hollywood Studios?
