Even if Disney fans have been finding plenty of issues to complain about on their Disney vacations or visits to Disney Parks, there are still some heartwarming and magical moments that present themselves as reminders of the Disney magic that attracted those devoted fans in the first place.
One heaping dose of Disney magic has often been presented to Disney World and Magic Kingdom Guests during the “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular in front of Cinderella Castle, which is named for the song “Happily Ever After” that serves as the fireworks show’s soundtrack.
The pop song, which is sung by Disney darling Jordan Fisher and country singer Angie K (Angie Keilhauer), is extremely popular with Disney fans — and one pair of Disney fans, who were having their own Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, were just surprised with a very sweet performance of the song from one of its original creators!
The Voice star Angie K took to social media to vlog about her journey as she headed to a Disney Resort to surprise the happy couple. We can see in the video (shown below) that Angie’s performance of “Happily Ever After” is a lovely, more mellow acoustic version of the song.
The bride and groom share their first dance as Angie sings and plays her acoustic guitar, providing her own accompaniment — then the video ends with a shot of a sweet hug between Angie and the bride!
@officialangiek Highlight of my month ❤️ congrats y’all! #happilyeverafterfireworks
The Disney Fairy Tale Wedding bride and groom were not actually the only ones pleased by the waterfront wedding performance. A Disney employee actually reached out to thank Angie, as well!
“As a Walt Disney World Cast Member, thank you for the happy tears and the magic!! we are so excited to hear your voice again!!” the Cast Member wrote in response to the video.
Would you get weepy and emotional if you were surprised with a private performance of “Happily Ever After” by Angie K or Jordan Fisher (who recently celebrated his own Disney Fairy Tale Wedding in the Cinderella Castle at midnight)?
