Harmony Barber Shop Announces a Reopening Date

The Disney Parks Blog has announced that the Most Magical Place on Earth’s favorite barbershop is opening again for Disney World Guests! The Harmony Barber Shop will soon be back in business for any families on a Disney vacation!

The Disney Parks Blog called Harmony Barber Shop “the mainstay of Magic Kingdom Park since opening day”, and many Disney Guests like to introduce children to haircuts in Harmony Barber Shop and give them “the cherished ‘My First Haircut’ experience”!

However, this barbershop is not just for kids on a Disney vacation! Disney Guests of all ages and at all levels of youth or adulthood can stop by for a Disney haircut with Magic Kingdom stylists.

If you want to get a haircut booked at Harmony Barber Shop, do so in advance! There are only a few reservations available on the My Disney Experience app, starting June 28 — and even though walk-ins are welcome, there is no guarantee that any stylists will have room for unexpected customers (even with the help of some Disney magic).

This Disney establishment will officially be back as of July 31! According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Cast Members of the Harmony Barber Shop “look forward to providing families with magical memories in the whimsical nostalgia of a bygone era”.

If you love Harmony Barber Shop but you also miss Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, don’t worry! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will apparently return “later this year” at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort for Disney Guests.
