The same sort of thing applies in the evening. As the sun goes down, families and groups who have been in the park all day tend to head back to their respective hotels to rest up for the next day. Even if you arrived at opening, you can still take advantage of this fact by leaving the park around midday to get a quick nap, take a swim, eat a meal, then come back to the park later that evening to continue the festivities.
