7. Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Quite possibly THE flagship attraction not only of Fantasyland, but also of the Magic Kingdom, Dumbo is located in the Storybook Circus area of Fantasyland. When Fantasyland was revamped in 2012, Dumbo was relocated to its current location, but Imagineers plussed the experience by adding a second ride system, thus doubling capacity, but they also built a wonderful waiting space where adults can sit down in air-conditioning and children can burn off excess energy by playing on an indoor playground while waiting for their turn – once your turn comes around, you will be notified by a pager! We certainly hope this “line” is used in other attractions in the future!
Fantasyland is a wonderful start or end to any day in the Magic Kingdom since there is so much to see and do! There is so much more to accomplish than the seven fantastically fun things on this list – what is your must do in Fantasyland?
