Many Disney fans already know that Disney employees are on a strict NDA diet after being hired, especially if they are character performers who are “friends with” (i.e. playing the roles of) face characters like Cinderella or fur characters like Maui.
The confidentiality and decorum aspects of these roles are taken very seriously, so much so that one former Cast Member recently shared an intense fear of Disney’s retaliation after sharing just one small insight into the Goofy costume’s logistics!
Defying Disney’s Rules
However, some Cast Members have been rebelling and defying Disney’s rules via the TikTok account called @illegaldisney.
This TikTok account was deleted not long ago, but has returned with a vengeance (and with a new username: @illegal.disney).
The newest forbidden addition to this social media treasure trove features a behind-the-scenes look at the second floor of Main Street U.S.A.

Pluto, Twerking?
Previous TikTok videos have included footage of Cast Members doing everything from twerking in Pluto costumes to showing off their gym skills in Chip and Dale costumes backstage.
Intimate looks at the infrastructure behind Magic Kingdom rides (such as the inner workings of the now-extinct Splash Mountain water ride and the “ghosts” on the Haunted Mansion ride) are also shared.

Many of these videos involve character performers or Disney staff members behaving in only slightly risque or lewd ways that are bordering on PG-13 ratings.
Disney fans clearly love seeing this footage, if the comments on the TikTok account’s videos are any indication, but overall the scandalous footage is not all that scandalous.
After all, we have seen Disney World guests misbehaving or acting inappropriately on far worse levels within the Disney theme parks!

Magical or Upsetting? You Decide
Do you like seeing Disney Cast Members letting their fur character hair down like this, or do you feel like the Disney magic is threatened when anything other than poised PhotoPass shots are shared online?
