Disney Cast Members have spoken and have shared their favorite Disney character in this unique way for the Disney 100 celebration!
The Walt Disney Company is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and the Mouse House is pulling out all the stops for the celebration. With all kinds of unique celebrations starting right on January 1, down to the complete redecoration of the Disneyland Resort, Guests and Disney fans have much to look forward to with this celebration. And one recent revelation that stemmed from the Disney 100 Years of Wonder celebration also gave us insight into who Disney Cast Members consider their favorite character!
Recently, Theme Park journalist Scott Gustin shared some pins from Cast Members at Disneyland for the Disney100 celebration. He shared,
Cast Members at Disneyland will be wearing new Disney100 nametags that, for the first time, feature the CM’s favorite character instead of their hometown.

As Gustin mentions in his tweet, the cute fact that came to light through these pins was that the most common pin that had to be made featured Stitch from the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch. This is unsurprising, considering the beloved Disney character is in high enough demand to warrant his live-action movie. The upcoming live-action is based on the animated Disney Lilo and Stitch film.
This is also not the first time Stitch has “taken over” the Parks (and fans’ hearts) in a way. Think of the time he took over the Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom!
Regardless, it’s truly wonderful that these pins will now feature not only Cast Members’ names but also their favorite characters. Disney Cast Members are the heart and soul of the Disney experience, and it’s lovely that they also get to share the characters they love with Guests through this new initiative which is sure to find many a happy visitor!
